Glencoe Country Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful old building surrounded by  lovely gardens, and superb further views to the dominant view of nearby mountains and the lush rolling hills of the North West Coast.

Originally built as a dairy farm, Glencoe sits amidst fertile Kentish Plains overlooked by craggy Mount Roland. Glencoe is a gateway to the stunning Cradle Mountain, Lakes District and the World Heritage Wilderness area.

The house has been lovingly restored with its surrounding gardens and acreage maintaining an atmosphere of rural peace and tranquility.

Glencoe Country Bed & Breakfast is hosted by Irene & Russell McNeill.

"Please drive carefully when you are on the property, as there are numerous free roaming animals on the grounds... eg. cat, dogs, ducks, chickens ... thanks!"

Red Room

This was the main bedroom of the farmhouse.  It has a bay window seat with comfy cushions, overlooks the front garden. The room is bright and airy catching the morning sun, with a side window view of Mt Roland. This room also has a beautiful antique wardrobe.

Green Room

This is our smallest room.  Very comfortable with room for a chair, a built-in wardrobe and luggage rack.  It has a view of Mt Roland and overlooks the pond and rose garden, which are currently under renovation.  A very cosy room in winter.

Blue Room

This room has a view of Mt Roland and also overlooks the pond and rose garden.  A large room where we can arrange a pull out single bed for that extra person or child.  Another beautiful antique wardrobe is in this room

Brown Room

The other original large bedroom, it has a view over the front garden and the 100 year old pepper tree through the side window.   There is a build in wardrobe and this room is large enough to accommodate a single pull out bed for that extra person /child or a cot.
